Summary

You use your amazing diagnostic and people skills to assure customers of swift resolutions to their technical issues. You offer advice on accompanying accessories that will further improve the customer’s experience with Apple products. You also educate your team members about products, while independently keeping your own technical know-how up to date. With your customer service brilliance and empathetic nature, you provide advice and support to both customers and team members.

Description

As an Assistant Manager at GatorTec, you will help the Retail and Service Managers with daily operations at our Gainesville store. You will become a trained Apple Specialist, allowing you to provide insightful advice and friendly, hands-on technical support to Apple customers in need. You quickly diagnose product issues on the spot, explaining situations with patience and compassion. After determining whether repairs can be done or a replacement is needed, you offer solutions to quickly get users up and running again. Even if you’re juggling more than one customer, you stay conscious of their time demands as well as your own. You fulfill Apple’s service commitment with style, speed, and skill. And you earn the trust of customers and coworkers alike as you offer mentorship, knowledge, and even tips and training. At GatorTec, we care about improving our services. Responsibilities

  • Create promoters of our brand by providing transformational experiences to every customer
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • You will work to ensure all operational practices meet the standards of both Apple and GatorTec while training to become a Store Manager
  • Assisting Retail and Service Managers in the daily operations of an Apple Authorized Service Center and Retail Store
  • Achieving monthly goals and objectives
  • Fostering a positive store culture for employees and customers
  • Assisting Store Manager in maintaining adequate inventory levels
  • Assisting in completing accounting and paperwork associated with cash receipts, pricing and conducts physical inventories
  • Assisting in maintaining training requirements for yourself and your team
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of all products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields; management or leadership experience preferred
  • An aptitude for acquiring skills in technical troubleshooting and repairs, and the ability to translate those situations into terms everyone can understand
  • An eagerness to learn about all Apple products and devices
  • You have that organization gene that forces you to maintain a store that is neat, organized, and efficient
  • You are a great teammate who believes we are better as an organization when everyone is successful
  • You are humble and a willing receiver of feedback, from peers and managers, as a growth opportunity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
