Field Worker – Plant Sciences, INC

The purpose of this position is to help maintain a ten-acre blueberry breeding operation. Also, to support the farm manager and breeder in seasonal tasks and improvements to the farm.

The Role of The Field Worker:

Responsibilities:

· Weeding, planting, watering, and harvesting

· Helping farm manager assemble and maintain farm structures

· Monitoring issues with plant material

· Maintaining a clean work environment and disposing of plant materials

· Recording measurements

Worker Requirements:

· Will manage time and tasks appropriately

· Able to work outdoors in hot or cold conditions

· Able to lift 40 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Archer, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Farming: 1 year (Preferred)
